The Ask:
In teams, prepare a design-centered, professional, short term forecast for one classification with research gathered and from media, journals, news, or primary/secondary research. Forecast is to be presented to peers and panel of critics.
The Process:
My team and I stated that as a result of global instability and uncertainty, the desire for men to reject traditional expectations of gender expression was becoming greater. To communicate this position, we developed an in depth and visual focused presentation that highlighted various elements of our forecasted trend. A major responsibility of mine in addition to research was to provide a variety of multimedia from a thematic video to collages and designed slides.

The Outcome:
The final presentation earned the critics choice award for successfully presenting a well researched and evidence based forecast. Conceptually, researching changing gender norms in fashion gave me a deeper understanding of where the future of fashion is going. We observed that welcoming of self expression no matter ones gender identity is here and gained hope that freedom of expression will grow stronger in the future.
